The Fern Creek Invitational will be moving to a Thursday this year. Please mark your calendar, and we hope to see you there.

Race Schedule

4:30pm JV Boys 5,000m Free if varsity team entered, $15 otherwise

5:15pm JV Girls 5,000m Free if varsity team entered, $15 otherwise

6:00pm Varsity Boys 5,000m $6/ind, $40/team

6:45pm Varsity Girls 5,000m $6/ind, $40/team

7:30pm Awards Presentation

Varsity teams are up to 7 runners. Multiple teams may be entered. A school may enter an unlimited number of runners in the non-varsity races.

Awards

Varsity: Individuals: 1-5 plaques, 6-20 medals, 21-50 ribbons; Teams: 1-3 Trophies

JV: Individuals: 1-3 plaques, 4-15 medals, 16-50 ribbons; Teams: 1-2 Trophies

Individual medals and ribbons will be given out in the finish chute.

Entry Deadline

All entries are due to bcrumbo@bellsouth.net by Monday, October 13, via HyTek. Paper entries will be charged an additional $10 fee. Entries submitted after Monday, October 13, will be charged an additional $30 late fee. HyTek file will be available later in the summer via KTCCCA website or via the meet website at http://www.gofctigers.com/cc/invitational/index.htm.

Entry packets will be held until payment is received. If your check has not arrived by race day, be prepared to pay cash.

Directions/Parking

From the Gene Snyder Freeway (I-265): Take Billtown Road Exit (Exit 19). Turn left off of ramp if exiting from I-265E or right if exiting from I-265W. Turn right onto Mary Dell Lane. Mary Dell Lane runs directly into the entrance to Charlie Vettiner Park.

From the Watterson Expressway (I-264): Take Bardstown Road Exit (Exit 16), and take Bardstown Road South. Turn left onto Fairgrounds Road. Turn right onto Billtown Road. Turn left onto Mary Dell Lane. Mary Dell Lane runs directly into the entrance to Charlie Vettiner Park.

Parking will be along the road in the park. Do NOT park on any grass area in the park.
